Let me share my more than 30 years of local knowledge on Pine Island sound with you.  I spend 300 days plus a year on the water and specialize in light tackle live bait sport fishing for Snook, redfish, trout, tarpon and sharks.

Pine Island is the largest island on the west coast of Florida, just 15-20 minutes from Cape Coral, 30 minutes from Ft. Myers and one hour from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). Pine Island's secluded, quaint and "country waterfront" atmosphere is a huge part of its charm. Fringed with mangroves rather than white sand beaches, Pine Island has escaped the concrete, blacktop and skyscrapers found in the more touristy, beachy communities. Current legislation prohibits high density, high-rise development in the foreseeable future . . . designed to preserve our unique, rural island heritage for generations to come.

Come and enjoy some of Florida's best sport fishing or let me take you on a shelling trip, dolphin watching or on a eco tour, I serve all of the areas around Ft. Myers, Cape Coral, Pine Island, Sanibel and Captiva with a pick up location available close to you..

This Snook was caught casting live shiners up tight to a mangrove shoreline in the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. At 38 inches long it weighed 18 pounds. After a few photo’s the big female was released unharmed as she was well over the 33 inch maximum size limit. Snook are the premier gamefish in southwest
Florida with Pine Island Sound being famous for having some of the best Snook fishing in the state. When hooked Snook make powerful fast runs and aerobatic jumps giving you a often heart stopping battling in and out of barnacle crusted unforgiving man

My Boats

Custom built 22-2 1969 Aquasport flatback.

I spent more than 15 months totally rebuilding "my baby" using only the finest materials and rigging components available . She has all the toys including a remote control GPS trolling motor, flats tower, XM radio and power pole just to list a few. Powered by a super quiet 2015 Mercury four stroke 150 mounted on a Porta lift bracket for shallow water operation. She is extremely dry and smooth riding yet can handle 4 anglers while operating in a foot of water. In my opinion she is the ultimate SWFL guide boat. New addition: 23 C-hawk

C-hawk boats are famous for being tough commercial workboats designed for the rough waters of the NC Outer Banks. The smooth dry riding Carolina style flared hull offers a spacious platform for up to 6 passengers. With the addition of the C-Hawk I can now handle larger groups and do multi boat trips. The complete rebuild took 4 months and included composite stringers, deck, transom, fuel tank, rigging, hardware and paint. With a small foot print console, large uncluttered forward deck, 40 gallon round livewell, 105qt Yeti cooler and a large Bimini top for shade she is custom made and very comfortable. Quiet and reliable power comes from a 150 fourstroke Mercury outboard mounted on a aluminum bracket.
