Let me share my more than 30 years of local knowledge on Pine Island sound with you.  I spend 300 days plus a year on the water and specialize in light tackle live bait sport fishing for Snook, redfish, trout, tarpon and sharks.
Pine Island is the largest island on the west coast of Florida, just 15-20 minutes from Cape Coral, 30 minutes from Ft. Myers and one hour from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). Pine Island's secluded, quaint and "country waterfront" atmosphere is a huge part of its charm. Fringed with mangroves rather than white sand beaches, Pine Island has escaped the concrete, blacktop and skyscrapers found in the more touristy, beachy communities. Current legislation prohibits high density, high-rise development in the foreseeable future . . . designed to preserve our unique, rural island heritage for generations to come.

Come and enjoy some of Florida's best sport fishing or let me take you on a shelling trip, dolphin watching or on a eco tour, I serve all of the areas around Ft. Myers, Cape Coral, Pine Island, Sanibel and Captiva with a pick up location available close to you..

Snook are the premier game fish in SW Florida with Pine Island Sound being famous for having some of the best Snook fishing in the state. When hooked Snook make powerful fast runs and aerobatic jumps giving you a often heart stopping battle in and out of barnacle crusted unforgiving mangroves.

This Snook was caught casting live shiners up tight to a mangrove shoreline in the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. At 38 inches long it weighed 18 pounds. After a few photo’s the big female was released unharmed as she was well over the 33 inch maximum size limit.
